How do we Recognize our Soulmate
(John, 37 – Accountant – Houston, USA)
Life is strange. Some people spend a lifetime looking for their other half, some find it early and hold onto it. How do we know that’s it, our soulmate?
A coincidence or a soulmate?
Was it a coincidence that I’ve been at that very spot, at that very moment when I met her? I don’t know, maybe, or maybe it was meant to be. I didn’t know what was it, but I’ve felt something. One thing leads to another, and we’ve started dating. It was different. Unlike anything, I’ve ever experienced with another human being. Even though I was extremely attracted to her, I didn’t have the urge, the craving desire to have her, but it feels divine when we’re together.
The strange thing I’ve noticed is that there were no “butterflies” in my stomach, but something else, something different. The radiating warmth in my chest. I didn’t know how to describe it at the time, but I know now that it was love. It still is.
The love is flowing through me
The desire for her was strong, but calm, not aggressive. I wanted her, but the first thing I wanted was to care for her, to give every atom of my body to make her feel good. I still do. The love is flowing through me. I’ve discovered what life is actually about.
