Monique Bagwell is a Professor of Mass Communication and Media Studies at Lander University where she teaches courses in theater, speech, and performance. As a professional stage actress, director, and voice-over talent, emotions are the backbone of everything she does. Her formal training includes a Level 3 certification in ALBA EMOTING, the somatic study of basic emotions. She is also an advocate of helping performers, not only learn how to connect with an emotion, but also how to let it go so it will not interfere with their off-stage lives.
